If you want help finding a pro, Nia will ask for the details needed to get started and your permission. Nearby keeps your contact details private when preparing the initial request for merchants. An estimate is not a quote, and submitting a request is not a booking or a promise that a pro has accepted the work.

Optional text summaries

How it works

Call (650) 663-2729 to discuss a home-service need with Nia. Nia identifies herself as an AI assistant, and calls may be recorded. When text summaries are available, she confirms your mobile number and asks your permission before scheduling one text after your call. Calling us or agreeing to a callback does not enroll you in texts.

You choose whether to receive a text

Nia asks:

May Nearby send one summary text to this number after our call? Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out.

An explicit yes gives permission for that one summary. You can say no, or change your mind before the call ends, and still use the hotline. We record your permission and its time. This does not authorize promotional messages or texts from a contractor.

What the text includes

The text identifies Nearby and Nia and summarizes the home-service need and ZIP code you discussed. A summary is not a booking, a quote, or confirmation that a request was sent to a contractor. It does not promise a callback.

Message frequency and help

At most one summary per call you consent to. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts from this number, or HELP for help. For text-summary support, you can also call (669) 365-3846. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Delivery depends on your carrier and may be delayed or unavailable. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your mobile information stays private

We do not share, sell, or provide mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging delivery and support providers process the information needed to operate this program on our behalf. Your SMS consent is not shared with contractors.
